This intermediate MIG welding class is designed for students who have completed a beginner welding course or have prior experience with basic MIG welding. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, students will build on fundamental welding techniques while improving weld quality, consistency, and fabrication skills.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black;\"\u003eParticipants will learn more advanced machine setup and adjustment, joint preparation, fit-up techniques, weld positioning, and troubleshooting common welding challenges. Students will continue developing their fabrication skills through the use of shop tools, including the plasma cutter, and will complete an instructor-led project that emphasizes precision, craftsmanship, and practical welding applications. The finished project can be taken home for use or display.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black;\"\u003eStudents must wear appropriate work clothes, including leather, closed-toe shoes or boots, a long-sleeved cotton or wool shirt or jacket, lightweight leather work gloves or gauntlet welding gloves, and safety glasses. \u003cb\u003eNo synthetic fabrics are allowed.\u003c\/b\u003e A welding cap or suitable lightweight cotton head covering under the welding hood is recommended.
