Eating Well Early
Eating Well Early
This course is designed to help parents and caregivers learn how to support their young children to eat well. The primary goal is to develop a healthy and enjoyable relationship to food and the social aspects of eating. This course is based on Ellyn Satter’s work: a leader in the field - who has set the gold standard in public health for how to feed children and develop competent eaters. The principles of this evidence-based way of feeding children will be introduced in our short, 2-hour class. Participants will learn how to feed with more joy and less struggling. They may even reflect on, and improve their own relationship with food and healthy eating! Students will have a chance to discuss and share their own struggles & stories with others, as well as ask questions that apply to their own experiences.
