Neurodivergent Child Development

This course is an introduction into neurodivergent child development, through a neuro-affirming lens. Development is unique for each child due to biological and environmental features, each of these things contributing to how a child thinks, feels and relates to others. The information is rich with support for teachers, parents and caregivers, as well as information for individuals who are looking into a field working with children. This course shows an emphasizes for an inclusive approach; students will learn about the various neurodevelopmental conditions, their characteristics and the implications for learning and social interactions.
